So, what is the CoffeeShop Blog all about?
Hi! My name is Rita and I am the blogger behind CoffeeShop Blog. If you are visiting for the first time, welcome! My blog is all about photo-editing, especially in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and LightRoom. And pretty much everything you find here is created by me.
My main "claim to fame" are all of the free actions I have designed. If you don't know what an action is, it is just a way to program steps you commonly use in editing to get a certain "look". For example, if you want a soft vanilla B&W, a bright color pop, or perhaps retouch a portrait. My actions are special in that almost all of them run in Photoshop Elements, an amazing editing program most people can afford to buy, unlike Photoshop. And most of my actions are completely adjustable so you can get a unique look.
I also write actions that build and load storyboards and fun little practical actions that crop and sharpen your images for the web or add rounded corners to your images.
CoffeeShop has plenty of other free goodies. I create custom storyboards, textures, brushes, patterns, cards, etc. and post them here. I also write all types of tutorials covering photography, photo-editing, and Blogger blog design. I am a stay-at-home mom to two little boys, so this is my creative outlet!

Here is my little sis Heather and my newest little nephew. Isn't he the cutest? And did I mention my sister is a tall natural blond who has run marathons? Thank goodness I met my husband when she was 13 and going through her gawky years... Heather is a stay-at-home mom to her little girl and little boy and an avid photographer. Recently she started working with me as a logo/button designer for CoffeeShop. It gives me a reason to talk to her more. I help her out with her Photoshop Elements' questions! :-)
Here is our "new" car! It is an old Corolla that has been completely rebuilt/redone by my brother-in-law. Isn't it cool looking? You should see the engine, you could eat off of it. And it has some thingie in there that makes that little engine roar. Look at those cool rims and roof scoop. And the hood is some special custom order job that has this 3D like paint effect. You can tell that I am a expert on cars, right? ;-)
You can see my husband on the left (well, maybe not his best side), my brother-in-law on the right (he is tough ex-Army), and my little sis holding a cute little doll. Wait, that is my nephew! :-)

Your comment about your younger sister being 13 and gawky cracked me up...I have felt the same way, so glad my husband met me when he did! :) Beautiful family.
